About
Patricia A. Nelson's research focuses on government-business relations in particular role of business associations and lobbying, institutional change and the logic of inter-organizational institutions, foreign direct investment in high technology sectors, and business history. She was awarded a Ph.D. in international political economy with Susan Strange at the University of Warwick. Subsequently, she was awarded post-doctoral fellowships with Social Science Research Council/ Japan Society for the Promotion of Science at Hitotsubashi University and the Program on US-Japan Relations, Harvard University. Previous academic appointments include the University of Edinburgh Business School (UK), Seijo University (Japan) and Keio University (Japan).
